Continuing my previous comment, I have found bookworm plays ok if I use Firefox and Ubuntu, maybe the freezing is just a Windows thing?

Bookworm is a great game but it locks up every time I play it. This is not a good advert for the game, or any of the games in general, and does not encourage me to buy it.
